“Copa América UVM 2011” is looking for foreign teams to represent their countries”!



Universidad Viña del Mar is launching the first Baby Futbol tournament for foreing students. The idea of this institution is to have exchange students representing their own countries and participating of this soccer competition.
The championship wil begin on Saturday, June 25th, where the playoffs will take place, and then on the 26th the finals will take place. The venue for this event will be on the Marcelo Salas´s soccer fields at the Sporting Club, in Viña del Mar, and all foreign students that belong to an exchange program from a Valparaíso Region School are welcome to join.

The Comission wants to form 8 teams of exchange students representing the different countries of the continent, amongst which we have Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, USA, Canada, France, Germany, and more!
The attention that this tournament has attracted is such that Quintavisión will be transmitting 2 shows about it, where the best plays, goals, players and interviews will be shown.
The prices for this Tournament will be U$500 for the first place, U$300 for second and U$100 for third places, with special recognitions for best player, best goal keeper and best “goleador”
